Hin Areni
Hin Areni's Executive Director, Vardan Mkrtchyan, was a Politician and Government Minister in Yerevan before happily giving it all up to make wine in Vayots Dzor.
Hin Areni owns some of the best vineyards in Vayots Dzor. Under Vardan's leadership they have consistently worked to improve the quality of the wine by modernizing the winery and revamping the winemaking team. Both efforts really started to pay dividends with the 2014 vintage, which produced great Areni and Voskehat wines. Success continued in 2015 when a Rosé was added to the lineup and 2019 will see the introduction of a Reserve White wine.
