Voskevaz 2013 Muscat Rosali (375ml)
Made only in years when the conditions for a late harvest are optimal, this dessert wine is made from the unique Muscat Vardabuyr variety grown near Echmiadzin. The wine is fermented down to a sugar content of 16%, then barrel aged to add complexity to both nose and palate.
Successful dessert wines need complexity and acid to balance the residual sugar. This wine has both. A light amber color, bright aroma of tea rose with strong raisin tones on the nose. Candied peaches and caramel on the palate with a nice long finish.
Serve with a non-chocolate dessert, or have have it for dessert!
