Hin Areni's Dry Red Areni is made from Estate grown grapes. The high elevation and volcanic soil of the vineyards produce rich and complex wines.

The 2018 Areni is a medium bodied wine. Cherry and pomegranate fruit on the nose, floral elements as the wine opens up.  On the palate, more red fruits and herbal tones. This is a nicely balanced wine with bright fruit, light tannin and acidity all working together.

Like a Pinot Noir, this is a lighter wine - try with cheese and poultry dishes.

Fermentation: Destemmed fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks.

Wood Aging: 3 months in Armenian Oak barrels (100% used)

Residual Sugar: 0.0                 Acidity: pH 3.6            Alcohol Level: 14.5%
